Christina visits CNN Deportes studio
Since starting work with rising American Christina McHale, one area of focus has been on bringing across the American’s fantastic personality and sharing her story. Christina has an incredibly rich cultural tapestry – her mother was born in Cuba and she spent time as a child in Hong Kong – she speaks fluent Spanish as well as conversational Mandarin, so we have done interviews where she has been able to talk about her family and upbringing. One such example was during the recent Miami Open, when Christina visited the CNN Deportes studio and chatted in Spanish about her Cuban roots. Christina has also been updating her fans on social media in Spanish as well as English.

Petra’s official facebook page has now attracted more than 510,000 followers. Petra regularly updates her fans around the world with posts in both Czech and English and offers a humorous insight into her daily life on tour.
At the end of 2014, Petra was also the recipient of the 2014 Diamond Aces Award, presented to the WTA player who consistently goes above and beyond to promote the sport of women’s tennis to fans, media and local communities through performing off-court promotional and charitable activities.
In 2012, Petra featured in some of the most high-profile publications in the world. She was the subject of documentaries by the leading broadcasters in tennis, including CNN, Sky Sports and Tennis Channel. She was interviewed by The Times, The Guardian, The New York Times, Gazzetta Dello Sport, USA Today and many more newspapers from across the globe.
Petra attracted media interest in emerging tennis markets such as India, Brazil and Vietnam and in her home nation, the Czech Republic, she appeared on the front cover of Marie Claire fashion magazine.
The Czech Fed Cup heroine also joined the conversation on twitter, where she has collected more than 26,000 followers, and her facebook fans increased to more than 108,000.
